Dedans Ainsi Dehors
250 x 125 cm I Digital printing, 3D printing, Acrylic, Wood, Glass, Resin, LED

“Dedans ainsi dehors” explores the essential idea that to
transform the outside world, we must first bring about an inner
transformation. At the center of the canvas, the mirror represents
the third eye, symbolizing the awakened pineal gland. This third
eye has sprouted like a sunflower, absorbing the viewer's energy,
just as the sunflower captures the sun's light. The mirror thus
acts as a portal, integrating you into the creation by capturing
and diffusing your own energy through the work.
On the one hand, the canvas illustrates the temptation of the
flesh, with a peach tree and a wilted rose entwined like a
serpent, recalling the story of Adam and Eve. But here, in a
contemporary inversion, it is Adam who succumbs to the
21st-century forbidden fruit, the peach, symbolizing the buttocks
and thus carnal sin. This reversal underlines the temptations and
choices of the modern world.
A gazelle hypnotizes a lion, subverting the traditional roles of
hunter and prey, another symbolic inversion that underlines the
power of influence and seduction. Above, the moon, guardian of
feminine energies, watches over this scene of contradictions.
In the middle of the canvas, red dice placed on a plant weeping a
tear of blood embody chance and the risky choices of life. To the
right, another dice, in the shape of a blue heart, is also placed
on a plant, symbolizing decisions linked to the heart and
emotional wisdom.
Further to the right, Adam is also shown watering a tree in the
shape of an anatomical heart, the tree of wisdom. Here, he
nourishes his soul, and we see the fruits of his heart, a sign of
spiritual growth, blossoming on the branches.
At the top, an energy portal opens, from which butterflies with
ear-shaped wings emerge. This visual metaphor illustrates that
inner listening leads to transformation, to a genuine personal
metamorphosis.
This creation does not advocate a single path, good or bad, but
suggests the importance of finding one's own balance between these
dualities, in order to achieve authentic, personal enlightenment.
